The Laidlaw Scholars Leadership & Research Programme takes a holistic approach to developing your potential and accelerating your growth as a leader for positive impact. Crucially, either the research or the Leadership in Action component of your summer must be international. This is designed to broaden your horizons, expose you to new perspectives, and challenge you to think globally.

Conducting Research
Choose your own independent research project to work on for 6 weeks. This is a unique opportunity for undergraduates which includes expert supervision from leading academics or working with a team, developing your critical thinking and research skills.
Leadership in Action Project
Move beyond classroom concepts, embrace collaboration, and discover the potential of ethical leadership to drive change in the world. Prepare to be challenged, inspired, and changed forever as you learn through service and make a tangible difference.
Ethical Leadership Certification
Develop character virtues, learn how to navigate complexity and hone your ability to lead with integrity now and throughout your life journey.
Leadership Development
Laidlaw Scholars start their Programme with an immersive leadership retreat, followed by a series of development days, guest speakers sessions and 1:1 coaching.
Global Networking
Connect with a diverse network of Laidlaw Scholars, faculty, and alumni worldwide. Build relationships, exchange knowledge, and collaborate across borders.
Annual Conference
Immerse yourself in a dynamic gathering of Laidlaw Scholars. Share your work, learn from others, and build lifelong connections within our global community.
